Underage Hurling: Underage hurling training for U6 & U8's has finished for 2016, many thanks to our dedicated coaches.

U10's will continue to train for next few weeks.

Well done to our U12 panel and management who did us proud in the Cup final last Wednesday (28th Sept.) evening under lights in the torrential rain and strong wind in Duggan Park Ballinalsoe. It's hard to get to any final and this enthusiastic group have been in 2 finals in 3 days having reached the final in Donegal on Sunday (28th Sept.) also but unfortunately no more than Sunday we just had no luck at all on the day. The panel have been super all year and we commend them for their dedication. Many thanks to Adrian and Colm for looking after the lads all year. Sincere thanks to all parents for their continued support all year. Panel was: Daire Wynne, Kevin Maher, Olin Murray, Kian Flaherty, Kevin Brogan, Cuan Lennon, Shane Flesk, Alex Boyle, Michael Killarney, Tom Joyce, Shane Forde, Dean Collins, Cian Quirke, Ben Price, Patrick Balfe, and Michael Keary. Management: Adrian Forde and Colm Murray.

U15's played Rahoon /Newcastle last Sunday morning in a playoff game. After a very frustrating game which left a lot of talking points it seems the game is deemed a draw. So we need to replay them again next weekend in Rahoon -TBC. Many thanks to Turloughmore for use of Coolarne pitch as our pitch was unplayable.

Camogie Club: U11 girls through to county final after beating Carnmore in Abbey on Saturday last.

3 Ball Scramble: Please note the date change for the 3 Ball Scramble: Now taking place on the 14th and 15th October due to clashing with Intermediate Football County Final. Many thanks and hope to see you all there on the 14th!

Well done to the dual players playing last Sunday (Coleman Maher, Brian O'Donnell, Danny Mullins, Caelom Mulry, Trevor Mullins, Paul Flaherty, Brian Flaherty, Craig Kennedy, Eoin Blade) and to all players and management of Monivea Abbey GAA football club on reaching the Intermediate county final. Best of luck from all in the hurling club.
