Senior team lost narrowly to Sarsfields in the league at the weekend in a much improved performance. Championship in two weeks against Kileenadeema Leitrim.

Senior & junior training continues Tuesday at 7pm. Seniors are in action this Saturday v Padraig Pearses in Ballymacward at 4.15pm and Juniors are in action Sunday morning at 11am in Athenry V Athenry.

Minor training Monday 8-9pm

U14 training continues Monday 7-8pm. Under 14 Feile is this weekend with Abbeyknockmoy hosting Ballindereen on Friday at 6.30. They have already played Mullagh-Kiltormer this week in the championship.

U-13 training is on Saturday 5-6pm and Monday 7-8. New players welcome. Contact Adrian at 087 770 8056 for details.

The presentation of Connacht and All Ireland Intermediate medals and the launch of our fundraising charity cycle will be held on this Friday 31st March with finger food, music and craic in McGanns of Monivea. All welcome to attend. There will be more information regarding the cycle send you can pick up your sponsorship cards too.

There was no jackpot winner of last week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored draw. Numbers drawn were 13, 20, 26 &. There was 2 match 3 winners who each receive €40, Michael Killeen, c/o Moran's and Kim Moore, Menlough. Lucky dip went to Niall Forde. Lotto is now at €16700 so we encourage everyone to buy a ticket every week and takes place in Kelly's, Monivea.

As always, we appreciate everyone helping us out and by doing so everyone in the club and parish benefits from having a successful and well supported club.

Don't forget we are hosting a fundraiser and a charity cycle in aid of Cancer Care West on Saturday 19th August from Croke Park to Abbeyknockmoy. This promises to be a wonderful occasion and we ask any person who has ever sat on a bike to give this a go! We are looking for teams of 4 to cycle 50km each or whatever suits each rider. Individuals are also welcome. We ask that each person signed up raises €200-250 minimum between now and August. You can register your interest through Facebook or contact any club officer.
Sponsorship cards have now been printed and are available from any club officer. T-Shirts will also be printed up for every participant.

Well done to the Monivea Firsts on their great win in the Connacht Junior cup at the weekend. Great to see another cup coming back to the parish.
