Camogie Club: A huge weekend for the club with the minors winning the County C championship. This is the 1st time the club has entered a minor team and for them to come from behind at half time and win was a massive achievement.

The U13s won a very hard fought, physical game against Killimordaly in Abbey on Sunday morning to become North Board Champions.

Our U11 girls were narrowly defeated in the county A U11 Championship final replay on Friday evening in Kilconieron. Hard luck to the girls in a game that could have gone either way. Thanks to everyone who supported the girls on their tour of the parish and to Mattie and Mary Ryan for hosting the girls afterwards, very much appreciated.

Please support fancy dress fundraiser this Sunday in Ryan’s in aid of the St Bernadette’s children’s ward in Galway and Crumlin children's hospital.

Note for the diary: Hurling Club AGM fixed for the 20th November at 4pm at the club-house.

Congrats to the Monivea-Abbey footballers who overcame Kilmore (Roscommon) in their Connacht championship quarter-final last Sunday.
