There was no jackpot winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. Martin Treacy, Abbert was the only match 3 winner of €40. The numbers drawn were 3, 5, 12 and 26. Next week's draw for €3,900 will take place at Ryan’s Laragh. The club needs more help with our lotto groups. This would be an ideal opportunity for some of the parents of our underage members or any club member to assist the club without too much time involvement. Please contact 0876900352 for further details.

Club Monthly Draw: We thank all members who continue to contribute to this fundraising draw. If you wish to enter the Monthly draw which entitles you to free family membership please contact Catherine on 087 6900352 or via

Camogie: We at Abbeyknockmoy Hurling & Camogie have had an absolute blast putting together the Ice Queen Pageant & we really hope that you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
As we said on the night, things like this don't just happen! It takes people, effort, energy & teamwork. For those 9 men to put themselves out there & take part and in fairness they really did entertain us, we thank you sincerely. But for now, again we just want to thank every single one of you who sold tickets, bought tickets, liked and shared our page, gave spot prizes, sponsored contestants, dressed up our contestants and supported us in any way. We'd also like pay a special thanks to the various local businesses who kindly gave us spot prizes. To John Williams who captured every hilarious moment for us on camera and also to Paddy & Gerry in the Abbey Inn for looking after us on the night. Also, to Ronan Lardner our MC for the night, we're not sure if he realised what he was letting himself in for but fair play he was brilliant and did a great job in bringing out the best in our 'Queens'. Of course a lot of the creativity stemmed from the talented Marian Williams and we'd like to acknowledge all the work she put in in helping to create our Queens personalities, although some of them needed no help with this! Again, it was a fantastic night and our sincere thanks to all who played their part in any way.

The 1st Monthly Meeting of 2015 for the Camogie Club is taking place on Wednesday 21st January and the 3rd Wednesday of the month thereafter. All are welcome to attend and we'd encourage anyone who has ideas, opinions & thoughts as to what they'd like to see going on in 2015 to come along as everyone's ideas are welcome.

The monthly finance meeting is scheduled for this Friday @ 9pm at pitch. Please forward on all outstanding 2015 calendar advert fees and Ice Queen Pageant funds to Catherine Forde or Frank Fahey prior to this meeting. All members are welcome to attend.

2015 GAA National Draw tickets are available to purchase for €10 from any club officer. See for the list of great prizes. All proceeds from these ticket sales will stay in our club.

Deepest sympathies to the Egan family, Cloonavaghue and Rusheens on the death of County Delegate Pat Egan and to the Murphy family, Ryehill on the death of Thomas Murphy.

Abbeyknockmoy Hurling & Camogie club would like to wish a happy new year to all our supporters and club members both near and far. We look forward to your contribution both on and off the field in 2015.
