We'd like to thank O'Donohoes for their hospitality, Annemarie Hovenden for the delicious baked goods & Podge Newe from DigiPics Tuam who kindly sponsored the U10/U11 souvenir calendar. The evening was followed up by the Camogie County Board Lotto, and we'd like to thank all those who bought & sold tickets and indeed those who helped on the night. There was no jackpot winner but congrats to Declan Williams & Sophie Cosgrove who each share in the €100 match 3 fund, so will receive €50 each. Many thanks again to all for their support. Finally, all of us at the Abbeyknockmoy Hurling and Camogie Club would like to wish outgoing Tuam Herald Sports Editor Jim Carney the very best in his forthcoming retirement. Jim has relentlessly obliged the club by editing and printing our notes in the paper on a weekly basis. In addition, Jim has always been equitable to Abbeyknockmoy Hurling and Camogie teams in his coverage and match analysis. His professionalism and personality will be missed by us all in sport within the parish but we sincerely wish him the best of luck in his active years ahead.
