There was no jackpot winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. Frank Gannon and Thomas Coady of Laragh both matched 3 numbers winning €40 each. The numbers drawn were 12, 19, 21 and 23. Next week's draw for €5,300 will take place at Moran’s, Monivea.

Club Monthly Draw: The next monthly was held on Monday 30th. Congrats to Derek Wynn who scooped 1st prize of €700 and also our three €100 prize winners, Brendan Furey, Jerry Quirke and Shane Egan. We thank all members who continue to contribute to this fundraising draw. If you wish to enter the Monthly draw which entitles you to free family membership please contact Catherine on 087 6900352 or via All Monthly Draw members and those who have family membership with their 3 line lotto subscription must complete their 2015 club membership forms prior to 31st March, for adult and juvenile membership. The forms may be accessed on our website downloads. Please return completed forms to the club Registrar Caroline Boyle, or to any Club Officer. Please state member of Monthly Draw in payment section.

Hurling: Training continues this week for the U21’s, Juniors and Intermediates on Tue and Fri at 7:15pm on the astro pitch. Intermediates are fixed to play Rahoon in the League on Sat at 5pm away. Full details at training. Juniors were defeated by Athleague in the Tain League.

Underage - Underage training for U6, U8 & U10's continues every Sun 12.30-1.30pm and all are welcome to attend.
Also we need and request parents /guardians to help out in any small way possible to lighten the load for everyone such as prepare fruit and refreshments for post training. Everyone is promoting the game on a voluntary basis so any help no matter how small makes a big difference. We'll also be starting out 50/50 underage draw for next week whereby each family will get a ticket to complete with name & mobile number and asked to insert €2 in envelope then after training each week we'll draw a winning family. The winner will get 50% of those weeks’ takings with the other 50 going to underage club. So if we get 100 tickets the winner get €50 and underage club gets €50 the more tickets the more the winner and underage will benefit. This will help defray the enormous costs of running an active club such as ours, with sliotars at €5 each and hurls from €18 to €25 it's all money unfortunately.

Our U14's are in championship action at the weekend. Having 2 wins under their belt after receiving the points from Barna & Skehana already we hope they continue the winning streak. We wish R Forde a speedy recovery from his recent injury as he's an important member of our panel.

Our U16's played Tomas Larkins last Sat afternoon in Abbey, playing with the elements in the first half we were playing well and were happy with a 1-6 to 0-3 score line at halftime. We started the second half in the same vein as the first but midway through the second half a fortuitous goal seemed to ignite a spark for Tommie's and they tapped over 3 points in a row. Abbey had a late chance of goal but unfortunately it went narrowly wide and so ended in a harsh defeat by a single point. Panel was C Cooley, D Coleman, C Farrelly, C Flaherty, D Reynolds, E Neilan, F Ward, G Cosgrove, H McDonagh, J Dooley, M King, P Muldowney, R Cosgrove, G Quirke, R Dunleavy, J Joyce and S Conroy.

Unfortunately for our U12's Spiddal couldn't field for our league game last Sat so we'll have to catch up on a few games in the coming weeks. Training again Monday 7-8pm. All welcome to attend.

Well done to the Norrie Keane (Solo Singing) and the Abbeyknockmoy set dancers which includes club hurlers, Paul Flaherty and Craig Kennedy who won Connaught titles in Scór last weekend.

Monthly club meeting is on this Thursday at 9pm in the club house.

Congrats to JP and Elaine Heneghan on the birth of their daughter, Lauren.
