There was no jackpot winner or match 3 in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. Numbers drawn were 6, 10, 16, and 19. Seller’s prize goes to Danielle Kearney. Next week's draw for €6600 will take place at Kelly’s Bar.

Our monthly draw was held on Monday 29th. Congrats to Patrick O’Donovan who scooped the €700 1st prize. €100 went to Brian O’Donnell, Adrian Forde, and Paddy Flaherty. Well done to all winners. Junior Championship: Well done to the team and management team on their championship win over Meelick/Eyrecourt. The Full time score of 2-13 to 0 -15 reflects the competitiveness and intensity that this game was played in. Team on the day was Mark Flaherty, Keith Higgins, Mike O'Brien, Mike Gannon, Cian Murphy, Adrian McDonnell, Cathal Mannion, Colm Mannion, Darren Collins, Declan Moran, Kenneth Garvey, Eanna Connolly, Tomas Boyle, Rob Lally, and Daniel Flaherty. Sub used Vinny Flaherty.

On Sunday our Intermediate hurlers played in an 11 a-side tournament in Kilconieron. Abbey were drawn in a very tough group with both senior clubs Loughrea and Mullagh. The opener versus Loughrea ended in a four point defeat and next game V Mullagh ended in a five point defeat. Thanks to Kilconieron for the invitation and for coordinating a well ran tournament. Underage Hurling: Our Underage training change to Friday evenings has been a great success with a massive increase in numbers. However, due to a busy pitch schedule we are making a slight and final change to the schedule and we are moving from 6.30pm slot to 7-8pm for the rest of this year. Going forward, training for U6, 8 & 10's will be 7-8pm. All welcome to attend and any queries can be dealt by Declan on 086 8159309.

U12's played Liam Mellows last Saturday in the 4th round of the league and after another super performance Abbey came out on top 2-8 to 2-2. Well done lads and we look forward to the next game V Michael Cusacks away next week. Details TBC.

U13's played Ml Breathnachs last Monday in Abbey and after a tight entertaining game Abbey won on score line of 3-8 to 4-3. The next fixture for the U13’s is a game v Ballinasloe away on Monday June 29th in Duggan Park.

Our U16's return to championship action this Thursday away in Furbo at 7pm after their exam break. Best of luck.

Our Club Cul Camp is currently on this week. With almost 100 boys and girls attending we hope they have a great week. Sincere thanks to Mary Coleman for all her work co-ordinating our Cul camp.

Camogie: Well done to everyone who took part in the North board skills competition on Saturday and Roisin Joyce who came 2nd. Well done to set dancers who participated in Connacht Fleadh. Hard luck to our U12 team who lost their shield semi-final on Saturday. Congratulations to everyone involved in the U8 blitz on Saturday and a big thanks to everyone who brought food, made tea and cleaned up. The U10 and U13s teams are away to Ahascragh on Tuesday evening at the Fohenagh pitch. Good luck girls.

TABLE QUIZ: There is a table quiz next Friday 3rd of July in McGann's from 9.30pm. Tables are 4 persons costing €40. Prizes to be confirmed next week. All funds will go towards our intermediate team training fund. Please support.

BUS TO CROKER: Our intermediate team will challenge Ardclough, Co. Kildare next Sunday at 10:30am on route to Croke Park for the Leinster Final (Best of luck to Paul Flaherty and his Galway teammates). There is a limited number of seats available to book for those who are looking to travel. Cost for the return journey is €10. The Bus will leave Monivea on Sunday the5th at 8am.
