There was no jackpot winner or match 3 in last week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. Numbers drawn were 10, 12, 13, and 18. Seller’s prize goes to Gerry Flaherty. Next week's draw for €6300 will take place at Mannions.

We thank all members who continue to contribute to our monthly draw. If you wish to enter the Monthly draw which entitles you to free family membership please contact Catherine on 087 6900352 or via www.abbeyknockmoy.gaa.ie

Underage Hurling: Underage hurling training on Friday has shown an increase in numbers and is proving very popular. Training continues this and every Friday for U6, 8 & 10's at 6.30-7.30pm. This Friday in Abbey we welcome Turloughmore for U6 & U8 challenge.

U10 Finals Day Abbeyknockmoy v Tommy Larkins in Mullagh this Saturday 20th at 11.15am. Please be there at 10.45am. Thank you to U10 football for accommodating same.

U12's played their third round of the league away v’s Ballindereen last Saturday following two previous wins. We were missing a few for a variety of reasons but after a tough hard fought game we came out on top on score line of 1-7 to 1-3. There were some super individual displays in particular a side-line free scored by Tady from an acute angle, but overall it was down to great teamwork and high work rate. But the day will certainly be best remembered when our ever reliable centre back Cian Forde who normally wears size 6 boots realised he had forgotten them but took to the field and played with his father’s size 9's and no -one knew the difference. Panel was: Jamie Burke, James Quirke, Dara Burke, Jamie Collins, Cian Forde, Dara King, Tady Moran, Niall Farragher, Sean Lydon, Michael Molloy, Niall Mannion, Olin Murray, Gavin Kelly, Dean Collins & Cian Quirke,

U13's started their championship last Monday away to St.Thomas'. We had an early start on Monday evening but credit to all 25 enthusiastic players and especially our supportive parents for getting everyone there on time. Considering we really struggled to barely field in U13 last year is was great to see so many. We started really well and were 5 points up at halftime but once the 2nd half started our luck changed and we managed to hit everything except the back of the net whilst Thomas' snuck in for 2 goals. We ended losing by a narrow margin but our young team really did give it everything and for commitment alone you couldn't fault one of them.

Our Underage Cul Camp is on 29th June to 3rd July details on our website or on Kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie

We wish all players involved with Nicholson Cups finals on Monday the best of luck.

Camogie: It was a busy weekend for u12s with a quarter final replay Friday evening where they defeated Sylane and the semi-final on Sunday where they were beaten by a physically stronger Na Brideoga Team. Well done girls on making the semi-finals. The u10 lost out by 1 goal to Sarsfields Sunday morning in Abbey and were very unlucky not to at least get a draw. Training continues as normal Wednesday and Friday. U10,12 and 14 are planning a trip to Birr on the 4th of July for a series of games after which we will be attending the senior camogie championship game between Galway and Offaly. U10 and 14s please text Frank at 0868394774 if you are interested in going and u12 text Damien at 0860698619. The club would like to sympathise with Anita Cosgrove on the passing of her dad Wilfred Rogers in Chicago and also to Trish Kelly on the passing of her father Liam last week end. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
