Underage Hurling: Training for U6, U8 and U10’s continues this Friday from 7-8pm. Next Friday the 18th will be our last training session for this year. Sincere thanks to all the coaches for their dedication since last March. Thanks also to parents for their support. We'll resume again next year, but kids keep practising over the winter!

Our U6,8 & 10's competed in the CATS finals day in Carnmore last Saturday. Thankfully we got a lovely day for it and it was great to see the Irish Press cup present along with members of the victorious winning Minor Team. Our U6's got to play 4 games against different opposition from Sylane, Carnmore and Turloughmore. For their first time, they got to wear a club jersey and they certainly represented us extremely well. Thanks to Declan Treacy for looking after the U6's.

Our U8's competed and won the shield final where they gave a great display of skill and determination so well done lads & thanks to Pat Joyce and David Ryan for looking after this group of players. Our U10's competed against Turloughmore in the U10's shield final. They competed very well and had a few early goal chances been converted it might of being a different result they were narrowly beaten in the end after a cracking game of hurling. Thanks to Adrian Forde and Tommy Boyle for looking after them this year. At the end of the day all kids went away after a great days hurling with a medal and a goodie bag. Many thanks to Carnmore for hosting this year’s competition and for catering for such huge numbers. Special thanks to Tommy and Annette. The U10 Panel that togged was : Connor Mannion, Shane Forde, Tom Joyce, Shane Flesk, Darragh Maloney, Kevin Brogan, Michael Keary, Daire Wynne, Cuan Lennon, Patrick Balfe, Darragh O'Connor, Eoin Furey, Alex Boyle, Cathal Fahy, Ben Price. Unavailable on the day: Michael Killarney, Jamie Cosgrove and Eoghan Shanley.

Our U12's are into the Semi final which is fixed for Wednesday the 16th v’s Liam Mellows in Ballyloughane at 6.45pm. We wish them well.
Our U15's were unlucky to only come away with a draw at home against Annaghdown last Thursday. They now play Mountbellew this Thursday away. We wish they the very best of luck.
Congrats to our minors on a great win last weekend. Final score read Abbey 3-14 to Michael Cusack's 0-8. The win lines up a 1/4 final against Liam Mellows next weekend. Scorers in the 2nd half were liam McCarthy (0-3), Fionnan Garvey (0-3, 2 frees) & Keith Boyle (0-1). Well done to the team and management.
