There was no jackpot winner in this week's lotto. Congrats to Eadaoin Brannelly, Belleville who matched three number and receives €40. The numbers drawn were 11, 14, 15 and 24. Next week's draw for €3,100 will take place in Ryan's Bar. 
 
Hurling: Important club meeting this Wednesday at 9pm for all management teams and club officers.

Training Tuesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm for all adult players. Last weekend the intermediate championship round 2 draw took place and sees us receive a bye to round 3 meaning that we will be joined with the three losers of round 2 in an open draw to see who will qualify to the groups stages. For the record the draw for round 2 sees Kilconierann V Carughwell, Kibeacanty V Gort, Rahoon-Newcastle v Ballindereen. Round 2 fixtures take place this weekend with Round 3 taking place on either the 17/18th or 24/25th of May. Intermediates played Liam Mellows last Thursday in the city league semi-final. What had seemed to be a win for Abbey by all at the game was determined a one point loss by the referee. 
 
MInors defeated Mullagh on Sunday on a full time score of 4-13 to 2-3. After a slow start with two wides, mullagh scored an early goal, abbey responded with a point straight away from Caelom Mulry. A couple of frees from Eoin Loftus and and points from Fionnan Garvey and Caelom Mulry had abbey 0-5 to 1-1 up. Abbey were in control by half time but 7 wides made the halftime score tight at 2-6 to 2-2. At the resumption of the second half abbey pushed on and took their scores with ease and held Mullagh to 1 point from a free in the second half. Towards the end of the half Abbey weathering a storm of goal attemps to win out comfortably. Team was G. Moran, D. Moran, M. O'Brien, D. Keane, B. Loftus, C. Mannion, P. Muldowney, J. Boyle, J. Flaherty(0-1), C. Mulry(0-3), L. McCarthy(0-1), F. Garvey(0-3, 0-2F), C. Flaherty, E. Loftus (4-4, 0-3F), M. McDonagh. Subs used- M. Finn(0-1) for C. Flaherty, C. Cooley for M. McDonagh. Training continues this Saturday, time to be confirmed by management. 
 
U-16's had a comprehensive win over Sylane last Thursday, 3-15 to 0-4. U-14's defeated Kiltormer last Monday 4-6 to 1-0. M. King, R. Forde, G. Quirke, R. Dunleavy, N. Forde, D. Coleman, D. Lydon, N. Furey, S. King, C. Higgins, K. Boyle, J. Joyce, K. Farrelly, G. Cosgrave, J. Fleming.  Subs used  C. Forde & M. Molloy.Training continues this Thursday at 7.30. U-12 -training continues every Thursday at 6.30pm. Underage training for U-6, U-8's and U-10's continues this Sunday from 12.30pm.

Hard luck to Padraig O'Donnell who lined out for Leitrim at the weekend that lost to Longford in the Lory Meagher Cup.
 
Camogie: All under age training this evening from 7-8pm. Junior B training from 8pm.
 
Well done to the Abbeyknockmoy set dancers who took part in Scor Encore finals last weekend.
 
The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Brannelly family, Belleville on the recent death of Vincent Brannelly, London.
