There was no jackpot or match 3 winner this week. The numbers drawn were 4, 15, 18 and 20. Next week's draw for €2,200 will take place in Moran's. 

Training continues for all adult players every Tuesday and Friday at 7.30pm. U-12 training continues every Thursday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. U-14's train every Monday & Friday from 7pm. The U-14 team had a good win over Sylane in the SVL at the weekend on a score of 3-7 to 0-4. 1st round of C/Ship this sat at 1.30 where we play Pearses as a home game. Intermediates are in league action this Sunday in Tonabrocky against Rahoon Newcastle. Time to be confirmed. Underage training for U-6, U-8's and U-10's continues this Sunday from 12.30pm. 

National draw tickets are requested to return all tickets by this evening sold or unsold to any club officer as the tickets need to be collated and registered with Croke Park by the 7th of March for the draw that takes place on St. Patrick's Day. 

Membership is now due and fees are now due. Payment can be made on line through our club website or to any club officer. 
This years under age registration for both Camogie & Hurling continues this Wednesday 5th of March at 7pm - 8pm at the club grounds.  ​
This year the Club is producing a book which will document the history of the Club from its inception in 1953 to the present day, by way of match report archives, photos, articles submitted, and interviews.If any players from the earlier years would like to relay their memories of their time playing for Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club please contact Catherine Forde at 0876900352. Catherine will also scan and return any old newspaper clippings, photos and any other archive material.

As part of our fundraising activities for this year we are delighted to introduce Orbis Teenage Disco to the Abbey Inn on March the 14th from 8pm. Entry on the night is €10 and the first 100 entrants that produce the flyer currently on distribution will receive a discount of €2 of the entry fee. The disco will have a strict no alcohol policy and will be fully supervised. Guest DJ on the night is DJ Paudie who promises to bring a fantastic night of entertainment.

Commiserations to both Paul & Brian Flaherty with their teams Limerick It and Connacht defeated at the weekend. Paul was part of the Limerick IT who were narrowly defeated by Waterford IT (eventual winners) in extra time of their semi-final encounter. Paul scored two points playing at midfield. Brian was a second half substitute for Connacht in the inter-provincial final against Leinster at Croke Park.

The club extends its sympathies to the Hession family, Laragh on the death of Breda and to the Burns family, Laragh on the recent death of Gary.
