There was no jackpot winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. Congrats to Noel Keane, Abbey Road who matched three numbers and receives €40. The numbers drawn were 3, 16, 22 and 27. Next week's draw for €2,100 will take place in O'Donohoe's. 

 

Monthly club finance meeting this Thursday at 9pm at the clubhouse. All members welcome to attend.

 

Next Sunday September 7th we are holding our Annual 'Run in the Woods' which will be starting in Monivea Village at 12 noon. You can register online at www.runireland.com or on the day we'll have registration desk set up in the lounge of The Woodside Bar. The event itself is a 5km race which is AAI certified & officially timed, entry is €15 per person to enter the race. There is also a family walk entry for €20. After the 5km whilst the results are being reviewed we'll be holding the children's race on the village green and this will be followed by our new category, the Marvelous Mammies race which has been sponsored by Unislim East Galway. From the funds raised this year we'll be making a donation to the Abbeyknockmoy Benevolent Fund & also to Cystic Fibrosis. You can register online for any of the above categories. Intermediate final championship group game has been fixed for Saturday September 20th at 4pm in Clarinbridge. U-12 training continues this Thursday at 7pm. Underage training continues for U-6, U-8's and U-10's this Sunday from 12.30pm. U-6's, U-8's and U-10's enjoyed a day of hurling last Saturday in the CATS tournament final day. Well done to all players and manageement. In Camogie, Hard luck to junior b team who lost out to Ardrahan in their semi final game over weekend. Thanks to sarsfields for their hospitality over the weekend at the tournament. It was a well organized and enjoyable day for all. Under age training Wednesday eve at 7pm. Blitz this Thursday eve for u6, u8 & u11 in carnmore at 6pm.

 

Well done to all involved in the Monivea Fair Day last Sunday. Best of luck to the Monivea-Abbey intermediate team in their championship quarter final at the weekend.
