There was no jackpot or match 3 winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 3, 18 and 19. Next week's draw for €2,000 will take place in McGann's. The members draw was held Monday night and the main prize of €700 went to Mary O'Donnell, Crumlin and Frank Fahy, Abbey Rd., Pat Lally, Abbey Rd., and Carmel Quinn, Liss each receive €100 each as the runners up prizes.​
 
On September 7th we are holding our Annual 'Run in the Woods' which will be starting in Monivea Village at 12noon. You can register online at www.runireland.com or on the day we'll have registration desk set up in the lounge of The Woodside Bar. The event itself is a 5km race which is AAI certified & officially timed, entry is €15 per person to enter the race. There is also a family walk entry for €20. After the 5km whilst the results are being reviewed we'll be holding the children's race on the village green and this will be followed by our new category, the Marvelous Mammies race which has been sponsored by Unislim East Galway. From the funds raised this year we'll be making a donation to the Abbeyknockmoy Benevolent Fund & also to Cystic Fibrosis. You can register online for any of the above categories. U-12 training continues this Thursday at 7pm. Underage training continues for U-6, U-8's and U-10's this Sunday from 12.30pm. CATS tournament for U-6's, U-8's & U-10's continues this Saturday at home at 3pm.
 
In Camogie, Under age training Wed at 7pm. All U10's teams have been invited to play at the Bernie Tierney Memorial Tournament at Sarsfields Camogie Club. Registrations are at 9:30am with the event finishing up by 2pm. We'd like to wish them all the best and hope that everyone involved has a great day of sport. Junior B training Wednesday at 7:45pm. Next championship game due to be played this coming weekend but fixture not yet confirmed. It's a Semi-Final game V's Ardrahan. Fixture will be posted on Facebook page.
 
Well done to the Monivea-Abbey intermediates who drew in their championship quarter final at the weekend. Congrats to Teresa Keary & John McDonald who were married at the weekend. We wish them the very best for the future. Commiserations to the Galway Senior & Galway u16s Camogie teams in their defeat over the weekend. The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Lally family, Ryehill on the recent death of Mona.
