There was no jackpot winner this week. Congratulations to Pat Donohoe, c/o Mannion's Bar who matched 3 numbers and receives €40. The numbers drawn were 7, 10, 21 and 22. Next week's draw for €2,000 will take place in Kelly's.

Congrats to Michael & Margaret Gannon who claimed the top prize of €700 in our monthly draw last Monday night and to Michael Langan, Enda Ward and Sheila Connolly who each won €100. We thank all members who continue to contribute to this fundraising draw. Monthly draw and lotto subscriptions are due for renewal, please contact Catherine on 087 6900352 to arrange payment

Training continues for all adult players every Tuesday and Friday at 7.30pm. U-12 training continues every Thursday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. U-14's train every Moday & Friday from 7pm. Intermediates league game against Ballindereen was cancelled due to unplayable pitch.

Membership is now due and fees are now due. Payment can be made on line through our club website or to any club officer.

This Saturday 1st March the Camogie Club are holding a medal presentation in O'Donohoe's Bar from 6pm. The awards are for the U-10 County Finalists runner's up, the U-12 County Shield winners, the U-13 North Board Shield winners and the U-14 County Cup winners. All are welcome to attend.

Later that night the Camogie Club are hosting the County Board lotto. Tickets are on sale from all club officers and coaches and cost €2 per ticket. The jackpot is €5,300 and the draw will be held in O'Donohoe's​ at 10:30pm on Saturday 1st March. This years under age registration is on Sunday 2nd of March at 12:30pm - 1:30pm and again on Wednesday 5th of March at 7pm - 8pm at the club grounds.

This year the Club is producing a book which will document the history of the Club from its inception in 1953 to the present day, by way of match report archives, photos, articles submitted, and interviews.If any players from the earlier years would like to relay their memories of their time playing for Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club please contact Catherine Forde at 0876900352. Catherine will also scan and return any old newspaper clippings, photos and any other archive material.

Best of luck to Paul Flaherty who lines out for Limerick IT against Waterford IT in the semi-final of the Fitzgibbon Cup this Friday at 2.30pm in UUJ, Belfast. Paul played wing back on last week's team that defeated favourites UL in the quarter-final. Best of luck to Connacht in the M Donnelly inter-provincial hurling final this Saturday in Croke Park.

The club extends its sympathies to the Fanning family, Belville on their recent loss and to the King family, Newtown on the death of Mick Nicholson.
