There was no jackpot winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. Congratulations to Mary Reilly, Pat Cooley and Niamh Molloy who match three numbers and each receive €40. The numbers drawn were 2, 6, 7 & 25. Next week's draw for €2,800 will take place in O'Donohoe's Bar. The monthly draw will also take place next Monday night after the lotto draw.

Intermediates were defeated by Ahascragh-Fohenagh in their championship semi-final last Sunday. Abbey failed to convert early first half chances but still led at half time by 3 points 1-5 to 1-2 assisted by a strong wind. Second half goals by Ahascragh-Fohenagh sealed their win playing with the elements our lads were finding it hard to get into their stride and run out losers by 5 points. Full time score 3-10 to 2-08. Team was Declan Molloy, Tommy Farragher, Brian Costello, Stephen Ruane, Coleman Maher, Brian Flaherty, David Carton, Ronan Cooley, Danny Mullins, Padraig O'Donnell, Trevor Mullins, Paul Flaherty, Eoin Blade, Craig Kennedy, Caelom Mulry. subs used John Culkin, Brian O'Donnell & Darren Collins. Many thanks to the team and management for their dedication throughout the year, physio Seamus McWalter, McGann's Bar who provided food after all our games and special thanks to the huge support we have received this year. Congratulations to Newtown who defeated Monivea in the schools shield final last Thursday.

In Camogie, hard luck to our u-11 girls who were narrowly defeated by Cappataggle in Sunday's county final replay. Huge thanks you to all the parents and supporters who came along on what was a very wet & windy morning. Credit to the team and their management who put in such an effort all year round.
