There was no jackpot or match 3 winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto.  The numbers drawn were 18, 19, 25 and 28. Next week's draw for €2,500 will take place in Ryan's. The members draw was held Monday night and the main prize of €700 went to Brian Griffin with Gerry Farragher, Keith Higgins and Sean Murphy each receiving €100. We thank all members who continue to contribute to this fundraising draw. If you wish to enter the Monthly draw which entitles you to free family membership please contact Catherine on 087 6900352 to enter the draw.

Club monthly meeting this Friday at 9.30pm in the clubhouse​. Sunday underage training finished last Sunday and we would like to acknowledge and thank players, parents and coaches who have put great time and effort since last. The parish schools Fr. O'Brien Cup & Shield continues this Wednesday at 6.30pm with Monivea taking on Newtown. 

As part of our intermediates drive towards senior status we will be holding a table quiz this Saturday the 4th of October in McGann's Bar from 8.30pm. Tables are €40 for a team of 4. As always support appreciated. The two championship quarter finals take place this Sunday in Kenny Park at 2pm and 3.30pm and after these games the draw takes place for the semi-final where we find out our opposition and when the game will be played.


Award 1 Adult/Youth courses commence on October 6th (Monday 7-10pm) for 6 Monday nights. Foundation Level courses take place on October 18th at Sarsfields and Oranmore GAA clubs, this is a 1 day course. We would encourage any interested parties to contact any club officer.


In Camogie, this Wednesday will be the last evening of training for the U-6 & U-8 teams. An end of season wrap up party is taking place in McGanns of Monivea at 4pm this coming Saturday. We hope to see all players from U-6 up to U-16's there. Best of luck to our U11's who are out in the County Semi-final against Ahascragh this Sunday at 11am in Abbey. Support for the girls as always appreciated.

 

The Schools Camogie Tournament draws to a close this week with the finals being played this evening (Wednesday) at the pitch in Abbey from 6pm. Best of luck to Crumlin & Monivea who are playing in the Joe & Ann O'Connell Cup Final and to Brierfield & Newtown who play in the Bernie Moran Shield. We encourage both past and present pupils to come along to support your school team. Presentation and prize takes place immediately after the games.

 

There are a number of Abbeyknockmoy Camogie Club jerseys available to purchase. They'll be sold on a first come first serve basis. Anyone who wishes to buy a jersey can contact Sharon 085-7074747.
