There was no jackpot winner this week. Congratulations to Ursula Maher who matched three numbers and receives €40. The numbers drawn were 4, 20, 24 and 27. Next week's draw for €1,900 will take place in O'Donohoe's Bar.

Monthly draw results are as follows: €700 winner - Brian Cooley and the three €100 winners - Sabrina Moran, Jerry Quirke and Kevin Mannion. Congratulations to all our winners and thank all who support this draw. As we enter this new year club membership falls due. Membership fees are as follows: Adult Player €50, Non-playing/Social Adult €20, Student Membership €30, Family Membership (All children under 18 years of age) €100, 1no. Juvenile Player €20, 2no. Juvenile players €35, 3no. Juvenile players €45, Lotto Membership (3 lines) €250, Monthly Draw (includes family membership) €240. Payment can be made to any club officer or online through our club website membership page.

We have received a great response from our local businesses who have taken an advertising spot on a club calender for 2014. We thank them for their support. The calenders will be available in the coming weeks for free locally.

'Glory for the Red & Blue' DVD is available to purchase through club officers and in the parish shops at a cost €25. The double disc DVD which was produced to commemorate the team of 88's victory also looks back over the history of hurling in the parish over the years and captures some fantastic moments.

We wish to thank all who supported our Road Hurling Fundraiser for the Ray of Hope Foundation and wish Tommy Farragher well when he travels as part of a group of volunteers early in the new year to Mombasa, Kenya where he will assist the foundation to build classrooms for primary school children and also assisting with a feeding programme for 100 preschool children. Thank you to McGann's for hosting the registration and providing hot food after and to Mattie Ryan of Ryan's Laragh who sponsored the sliotars for the competition.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Coady family, Laragh Hill on the recent death of Gerry Coady, Denver, Colorado, the Langan family, Abbey on the recent death of Paddy Langan, the Mannion family, Abbey on the recent death of Ger, the Martyn family, Ryehill on the recent death of Kathleen and the Boyle family, Abbey on their family bereavement in Waterford.

Congratulations to Ger Ruane and Paula Rooney, Damien Blade & Michelle Coffey on their recent engagements. Well done to Damien Lee who won a second Masters All-Ireland medal with Galway footballers recently. We wish all our supporters and their families a Happy & Prosperous New Year
