There was no jackpot winner in this weeks lotto. Congrats to Caroline Fahy, Corrafaireen, Margaret Finnerty, Glennaveel and Pat Blade, Killaclogher who matched 3 numbers and receives €40. The numbers drawn were 3, 8, 15 and 27. Next week's draw for €2,400 will take place in Ryan's of Laragh.

Intermediates lost by 6 points to Ballindereen on a full time score 2-16 to 0-16. Playing the aid of a strong wind we failed to build a lead before half time and were level at the interval 1-6 to 0-9. Ballindereen produced a strong 2nd half performance to win out in the end. Our lads will rue some great scoring chances created in both halves. Our next game will probably be 2 weeks' time. Team was: Declan Molloy, Stephen Ruane, David Carton, Paul Cooley, Paddy Flaherty, Brian Flaherty, Colman Maher, Paul Flaherty, Danny Mullins, Shane King, Padraig O'Donnell, Eoin Blade, Brian O'Donnell, Trevor Mullins, Barry Flaherty. Subs used Tommy Farragher, Mike Gannon and Liam McCarthy.

The championship draw took place last week for intermediates, juniors and minors. Intermediates have drawn Meelick-Eyrecourt in their opening championship game, Juniors are grouped with Killimor, Kilbeacanty, Kinvara, Castlegar and Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry in Group 3 of the Junior B championship and finally minors have been grouped with Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry, St. Thomas', Mountbellew/Moylough, Mullagh and Sarsfields in their minor B championship. Training continues every Tuesday and Friday from 7.30pm for adult players.

U-14's are in championship action this evening (Wednesday) under lights against Mullagh in Mullagh at 7pm. Support for the lads appreciated. U-14 training continues Thursday and Monday at 7pm. U-12 -training continues every Thursday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Underage training for U-6, U-8's and U-10's continues this Sunday from 12.30pm.  Registration will continue at these training sessions.

Under age camogie continues this Wednesday with the 12's & 14s training at 6pm and all other age groups training at 7pm. Once the evenings get longer all age groups will go back to training at 7pm. We are still taking registrations and have forms available at training every week.

Thanks to all the team from both the hurling and camogie clubs who assisted with the float for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Many thanks to the Abbey Inn for the use of their facilities for our recent youth Disco. Congrats to Galway who defeated Tipperary in the league last weekend and to Portumna on their club All-Ireland final win.
