There was no jackpot or match 3 winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 11 and 27. Next week's draw for €4,100 will take place in O'Donohoe's Bar.

Adult training continues this week this Thursday at 8pm. Intermediate championship resumes this Saturday 19th of July where we play Ballindereen in our second group game in Athenry at 5.30pm. Juniors were defeated by Kilbeacanty last Sunday in evening on a full-time score 4-10 to 2-10. U-16's lost to Meelick-Eyrecourt last week and to Ballinasloe by 1 point last Monday evening in a championship quarter final play-off. We now look forward to the shield competition next Monday. U-12 training continues this Thursday from 6.30pm. Underage Underage training for U-6, U-8's and U-10's continues this Sunday from 12.30pm.

On Friday the 25th of July we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our 1964 Juvenile winners in McGann's Bar from 9.30pm with tickets available to purchase from any club officer and club finance team for €10. In what promises to be great occasion we hope you can join us to honour this great team. Galway legend Joe Cooney will be the guest of honour with Jimmy Hynes and the Crusaders the band on the night.

Abbeyknockmoy Hurling & Camogie Club crested playing gear, from juvenile to adult sizes, can be purchased for 2014 through McInerney's Sports in Oranmore Town Shopping Centre. Call in to the shop to view club gear on display and speak with Ita or Gerry. For a limited time this month we will be taking orders for club sports gear supplied directly from O'Neill's. Please contact Declan on 086-8159309 if you wish to order any club gear.

We have decided to climb Croagh Patrick again this year and if it's half as good as last year it'll be a great day. We have a bus booked to travel on Saturday the 26th of July to and from Croagh Patrick where we will climb the Reek and return to base camp Campbells Bar where we will enough a BBQ, few beers and bit of craic. If you are interested in an enjoyable day out contact Declan on 086-8159309 to book a seat. Depending on numbers the max cost for the day is €40.

In Camogie, under age training Wednesday at 7pm & extra session for 10's & 12's Friday at 6pm. Junior B training every Monday & Wednesday at 8pm.

Hard luck to the U16's who were defeated by Mountbellew over the weekend. They now face Sylane this evening in Sylane. Our 12's are out this Thursday, best of luck to the team and management.

The Junior B's played Carnmore last week and after a slow start to the game they won on a final score of Abbey 5-6 to Carnmore 0-7. Yesterday evening they played Ardrahan away. It was a slow game whereby we were fairly down at half time. Credit to the Abbey ladies who managed to pull it back in the 2nd half but not enough with the game ending Abbey 3-2 to Ardrahans 1-10. Their next game is against Mountbellew at home in Abbey but fixture not yet confirmed.

Camogie Club meeting this eve (wednesday) at 9:30pm in the clubhouse. All club officers are expected to attend and all players and members are welcome to attend.

Good luck to the Galway East Athletics who are holding their 5km & 8km run this Sunday in aid of the Oncology unit at the Galway University Hospital.

Also, best wishes to the organisers of the Abbeyknockmoy Community Playground who are holding a family day this Sunday afternoon.
