There was no jackpot winner in this week's Crumlin Park House & Resource Centre Sponsored lotto. Congratulations to Gabriel Collins, Turloughmore, Jim Fox, Ryehill and Niamh Molloy, Crumlin who match three numbers and each receive €40. The numbers drawn were 4, 8, 19 and 23. Next week's draw for €2,700 will take place in McGann's Bar.

Intermediates play Ahascragh-Fohenagh in their championship semi-final this Sunday at 1pm in Kenny Park. Support for the team appreciated. Crumlin/Annagh defeated Newtown in the final of the Fr O'Brien Cup on a final score of 2-02 to 0-04. Well done to both teams. Newtown now face Monivea in the shield final this Thursday at 6pm at the club grounds. Congrats to Bernie Flaherty on her appointment as principal at Annagh NS. U-12 training continues this Thursday at 7pm.

In Camogie, U-11 County final took place on Sunday last against Cappataggle. At half time our side were 1-0 to 0-0 but in the 2nd half it was a little slower, that was until near the end. Cappataggle scored a goal which was quickly retaliated by the Abbey side putting them a goal ahead again but with about 5 mins to go Cappataggle scored another goal, leaving them 2 goals apiece.

There were a few failed goal attempts from the Abbey forwards which just went wide. For an under 11's game the excitement was immense and the level of skill was truly admirable. With the game finishing in a draw it means we get to do it all over again this coming Sunday. A venue and time has yet to be confirmed. Well done to all the players, managers and supporters for their efforts on the day.

Bernie Coleman, a brother of our underage hurling Chairman Michael Coleman, will be running the Dublin City Marathon on Monday 27th October to raise funds towards club underage development. Prediction cards, predicting Bernie's official finishing time, are currently being sold by our underage hurlers. These cards are to be returned by Friday October 24th and can be given to any club officer or contact 0876900352, 0868092804.

Jason Travers and band will play Ffrench's on Saturday November 8th, be sure to keep this date free for a great nights entertainment.

The club extends its deepest sympathies to Maureen Fahy and her family on the death of her brother Tom Glynn.
