There was no jackpot this week. Congrats to Brendan Smyth, Ryehill, Philip Carroll, Mountbellew and Bernadette Flaherty, Ballyskea who matched 3 numbers and receives €40. The numbers drawn were 3, 11, 15 and 20. Next week's draw for €2,300 will take place in the Woodside Bar. 

Intermediates defeated Padraig Pearses (Roscommon) in the Tain League 1-14 to 1-7 on Saturday and lost to Rahoon-Newcastle on Sunday in the intermediate league 1-14 to 0-10. The championship draw took place last night (Tuesday) details to be published next week. Training continues every Tuesday and Friday from 7.30pm.

U-14's lost to Padraig Pearses in their first round championship game on Saturday, full-time score 3-6 to 1-3. U-14's train every Monday & Friday from 7pm. U-12 -training continues every Thursday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Underage training for U-6, U-8's and U-10's continues this Sunday from 12.30pm. 

​Under-age camogie training continues this Wednesday from 7pm - 8pm at the club grounds.  ​
This year the Club is producing a book which will document the history of the Club from its inception in 1953 to the present day, by way of match report archives, photos, articles submitted, and interviews.If any players from the earlier years would like to relay their memories of their time playing for Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club please contact Catherine Forde at 0876900352. Catherine will also scan and return any old newspaper clippings, photos and any other archive material.

As part of our fundraising activities for this year we are delighted to introduce Orbis Teenage Disco to the Abbey Inn on March the 14th from 8pm. Entry on the night is €10 and the first 100 entrants that produce the flyer currently on distribution will receive a discount of €2 of the entry fee. The disco will have a strict no alcohol policy and will be fully supervised. Guest DJ on the night is DJ Paudie who promises to bring a fantastic night of entertainment.

Commiserations to Brian Flaherty and his Galway team mates who were defeated by Kilkenny in the league at the weekend. They face Tipperary in Pearse Stadium this weekend.
