The membership fee's for the 2014 Camogie season remain the same as the last year in conjunction with the Hurling club fee's however this year sees the introduction of the Camogie Association Membership. With this having been agreed by a majority at National Congress level the following fee's were agreed per member. Under age players €13, Adult players €23, Coaches/refs/admins €3. Therefore whilst the membership for Abbeyknockmoy Hurling & Camogie remains the same as last year, there will be an additional €13 levy for each under age camogie player and €23 levy for adult player to be paid as well as the membership fee, see examples below: One child membership €20 + €13 levy, Two children membership €35 + €26 levy, Three children membership €45 + €39 levy. But if for example you are registering 1 boy for hurling & 1 girl for camogie the total fee is €35 for the 2 child membership + €13 levy for the camogie player. Full family membership including entry to the Monthly draw €250, Family X are registering both parents (neither of whom play), 1 camogie player aged 19, 2 boys for under age hurling and 1 girl for under age camogie. Their fee will be the membership of €250 which includes the monthly draw entry + €23 levy for the 19 year old camogie player + €13 levy for the under age camogie player so total paid is €286. For any further queries regarding the Camogie membership please feel free to contact the camogie club secretary Sharon on 085-7074747.
