Just a reminder that the lotto can be done online at and in O'Donohoe's shop where tickets will be collected before 9pm each Monday.
All pre-paid lotto entries & monthly members draw entrants fees are due now. Payment can be made online using laser, visa, credit card or to a club officer. Payments must be in on time if you are to be included in the draw.

Hurling: Under age training continues this Sunday from 12:30 - 1:30 at the club. It was great to see so many newcomers at registration, and indeed newcomers are welcome at any stage. Registration forms are always available at training, just ask a coach or club officer.

In the SVL League the U-14's were defeated by a strong Mountbellew outfit on a score line of 1-14 to 1-4 in the SVL league last Saturday. To be fair to Abbey they were missing some key players due to a combination of factors which did not help their cause. There are two remaining games to be played in the league namely against Tooreen & Sylane and all are to play for. Management to confirm time and dates for these games later this week.

Intermediates defeated Ballyhaunis in the Tain League last Saturday on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-12. Team was Declan Molloy, Tommy Farragher, Michael Gannon, Paddy Flaherty, Stephen Ruane, Colman Maher, Ger Ruane, Ronan Cooley, Padraig O'Donnell, David Carton, Frank Carton, Danny Mullins, Brian O'Donnell, Shane King. Subs used: Trevor Mullins for Shane King.
Training continues for all adult players this Friday at 7.30pm. U-14 training on Friday at 6.30pm. The U-21's are in championship action this weekend in a replay V's Portumna. Management to confirm fixture, we'll post details on website and facebook once it fixed.
Membership is now due for both hurling & camogie players. You can make payment online, at the club office Mon - Fri between 7-10pm or to a club officer.

Camogie: Under age training starting back this Wed 6th and every Wednesday from 7 - 8pm. We look forward to seeing all of you then. Anyone who didn't register already can do so at training.
Well done to our U14's who defeated Kilconieron in a challenge match on Saturday afternoon last. It was a sign of great progress given that Kilconieron have always beat us well in the past so was nice to turn the tables for once. Thanks to Ita and the crew from Kilconieron for coming over to play the challenge, they've been a great support to Abbeyknockmoy Camgoie since we started out & we look forward to a long and continued friendship.
The U14's are fixed to play the 1st of the County league games this weekend against Barna/Moycullen, it's looking like game will be played on Saturday afternoon at home in Abbey but details will be confirmed and posted on our facebook page

General: Tickets are on sale for 'Who wants to be a Thousandaire' on March 15th at 9pm in The Abbey Inn and are €10. Simply tick the box at the bottom of the ticket and should your ticket be pulled on the night then a member from our Panel will play on your behalf and any money won is payable directly to you. Tickets are being sold door to door and can also be bought from any club officer or at the door on the night.
We have a few advertising slots still remaining, if anyone is interested in placing an advert on the night with is displayed on two 8' x 6' screens throughout the night, then contact or 085-7074747.

Also, we'd just like to give a special thanks to our Major Sponsors who are: The Abbey Inn, Ryans of Laragh, KP Landscaping, Seacon, Better Bedding, Newel Roofing, Water 2U  & Harold Engineering. Their support has helped offset the cost of bringing this wonderful nationwide show to Abbeyknockmoy.

Commiserations to Brian Flaherty & the Connacht team yesterday who were defeated by a strong Munster outfit in the final of the Inter-Pro's.
Congrats to Monivea on claiming the Junior League title recently and all the best in the cup final having won their semi last weekend.

The Club wish to extend their condolences to Sean O'Donohoe and his family on the recent bereavement of his sister in Sligo. Our deepest sympathies are with you.
