Lotto: Number drawn 8, 26, 27, 28. There was no jackpot winner. Well done to Bernie Potter who matched 3 numbers and receives €40. The Monthly Members draw also took place. 1st place was Keith Ruane who received €700, the three runners up prizes of €100 went to Kathleen Cooley, Mike Burke & Michael Moran. Well done to all and thank you for supporting the draw. There are still places available for anyone who wants to sign up to the Members draw, contact 086-8159309 for details.

Hurling: The Intermediates are playing against Loughrea this Thursday in Athenry at 7:15pm. Your support as always is appreciated
Commiserations to our valiant U-14 team who put up a great battle against Salthill/Knocknacarra in the U14 Conty B semi-final to lose out narrowly by 3 points on a final score of 1-6 to 1-3 in Craughwell last Thursday evening.
The team players are disappointed as it was a game they could have won as they had the measure of this team in the past where they defeated them on the way to capturing the County Feile cup. However, a combination of the excellent play by Salthill's Evan Murphy and the Abbey players not reaching the high standards that they have set in the past giving the edge to Salthill who hung on for a victory. Overall this group of players have entralled us all year with their attitude and dedication combined with some brilliant hurling at times and great individual displays and we applaud them for their efforts together with their management team of Fintan Cosgrove, Connor Cooley & Michael Coleman. A special thanks to all the parents for their support over the past few months, it was very much appreciated. Finally the year is not over for these players as they are also in the closing stages of the U14 SVL together with the U12, U13, U15 & U16 championships which have/are about to commence and we wish all the players and management to best of luck and hopefully further silverware. For the record the team was: M King, K Boyle, J Dooley, S King, P Muldowney, D Coleman, J O'Connor, C Cooley (capt.), E Neilan, R Cosgrove, C Flaherty, S Conroy, D Reynolds, G Cosgrove, C Higgins, J Joyce, F Ward, N Forde, R Forde, C Farrley, J Kilmartin, R Dunleavy, G Quirke, L Cosgrove, D Keary.
Under 13's start off next week. Management will send out text to all with details.
Under age training as usual this Sunday at 12:30pm, all welcome.

Camogie: Under age training as usual this Wednesday from 7-8pm
Junior B & Minor training every Tuesday & Thursday at 7pm
Well done to the U10's who again turned up in strong numbers to play against Tuam/Sylane in Ballygar on Monday evening gone. It's great to see so many eager young players turn up.
U12's are through to the County Semi-finals but a date and venue has not yet been confirmed as of yet.

General: As part of the Abbeyknockmoy Gathering celebrations the hurling club are having a night out for all past and present players to reminisce on days gone by. We cordially invite you all to join us in Donohues Bar on July 27th at 8:30pm, for what promises to be a great celebration of times gone by.
For further details on this you can contact Brendan Geraghty or Gerry Flaherty.
Good luck to all our players who are currently studying for their Leaving Cert exams.
Congratulations to both Eimear & Patrick O'Donohoe on the birth of their baby girl.
