Lotto: This weeks numbers are 2, 7, 19, 26. There is no jackpot winner but congrats to the 2 match 3 winners, Carmel Flynn and Brendan Williams who each receive €40. Next weeks jackpot is €1,700 and the draw will be in Mannions Bar.
We will be holding this months members draw on Friday 25th in The Abbey Inn at the 'Tea Party'. Please ensure you are paid up to date to be included in this draw.

Hurling: There was a brief Hurling Club meeting on Monday 21st to ratify the new 2013 team managers for the Junior & Intermediate teams. The intermediate team manager is Michael Coleman with Gerry Farragher & Brian Cooley as his selectors and the Junior team manager is Keith Ruane with Aidan Flaherty & Mike Burke as his selectors. We wish them all the best for the coming season.
The Suck Valley League kicks off this weekend and our U14's are away to Padraig Pearses, we will post details on facebook once the fixture is confirmed. Details of the Suck Valley League fixtures has been put up on our new website www.abbeyknockmoy.gaa.ie
This Sunday 27th sees St. Gabriels take on Killimordaly in the AIB GAA All Ireland Intermediate Club Championship 2012/2013 Semi Final where our very own Brian Costello will be facing up against Killimordaly in what is shaping up to be an exciting semi-final. Throw in for the match is at 1pm in Birr.
The GAA are offering a 'loyalty' reward type scheme for supporters for the 2013 season. This scheme provides entry to - All your County's Allianz League round matches plus all League semi finals, play-offs and finals in that code - Your County's opening Championship fixture - All Allianz League round matches in your selected code. Camogie: Training has recommenced for the U14/16 teams, a text goes out from management to all under age players with details of training dates. For anyone who is not registered with the club but would like to play on the U14/16 teams please get in touch with us on abbeycamogieclub@gmail.com on facebook at abbeycamogieclub or 085-7074747. We are also looking for new players for the Junior B team, so do get in touch. Training for the Junior B team is starting within the next 2 weeks.

General News: This Friday 25th is our 'Tea Party' club social for both the Hurling & Camogie Club. If you have not yet booked a seat with one of the hosts you can still come along on the night. Entry is €10 which covers main course and dessert which is then followed by a live band where you can dance the night away. For anyone who can't make the meal, do please come along afterwards. This will be a great night out for players, members & supporters alike. We will also be making the official cheque presentation to CONSOLE from the 'Run in the Woods, 2012'. Your support would be appreciated.
