Lotto: Numbers drawn were 5, 6, 16 & 18. There was no jackpot winner. Congrats to the two match 3's who were Darren Ryan, Australia and Geraldine Potter, Newtown. Next weeks jackpot is €3100 and the draw will be held in Ryans Bar.
The Monthly Members draw will also take place on the bank holiday Monday in Ryans.

Hurling: Intermediates are playing their 1st round championship match this coming bank holiday Monday against Cappataggle in Ballinasloe at 6pm. Support as always is appreciated.
U16s game last Thursday against Skehana didn't go ahead as Skehana couldn't field a team.
The U14s played the 4th game of the championship on Monday where they lost to Mellows in Ballyloughan on a score line of 3-7 to 2-3. The Abbey squad was somewhat depleted with 3 players absent, however Mellows proved too strong on the day and were deserving winners. The 5th round is a home game against Mullagh next Monday with training continuing this Thursday at 6:30pm
U10s had their 1st outing of the year in the East Galway League last Sunday in Abbey. We fielded 2 teams against Athleague and both teams played very well winning both games. Training for all under age players again on Sunday morning at 12:30, all welcome.

Camogie: Under age training every Wednesday at 7pm, new players always welcome.
If there are any players interested in playing on the minor team please get in contact with us on or 085 7074747.
Well done to the U12's who had a busy week. Last Tuesday they won in their game against Sylane, they were defeated by a strong Moycullen side on Saturday morning in Abbey and then on Sunday morning they had a good win away to Bearna.
The U10s played away in Ballygar last Monday and that game finished in a draw. Well done to Ballygar who only started up last year. They were lovely hosts and their players put up a great game. We hope to meet again soon.
The Junior B's are in the semi-final play off this coming bank holiday Monday against St. Thomas at 11am. Pitch not yet confirmed.
The Camogie Club held a church gate collection at the weekend and we would just like to say a big thank you to everyone for their generosity and for the support shown.

Handball: Congrats to Chloe Burke who won teh 1st Connacht Ladies U16s handball final defeating Tara Gibbons (Mayo) on a score line of 15-3, 14-15, 11-5 in Lisacul last week and to Liam Egan & Dara Coleman on winning their 1st Connacht Boys U13 doubles handball final where they defeated Liam Hanley & Cillian Chambers (Mayo) on a score line of 15-11, 15-13.

General: Congrats to Valerie Dolan and Matthew Monahon who were married last weekend.
