Numbers drawn in this week's lotto were 3, 11, 21, 25. There was no jackpot winner but well done to Sabrina Moran who matched 3 numbers. Next weeks jackpot is €5,500 and the draw will be in Ryan's Bar.

Our U10 hurlers played in the Annual Garda Tournament hosted by Mountbellew last Sat. This is an excellent & well organised competition featuring 8 invited teams. We won our first 2 games well, which then set us up for a playoff against Ballinasloe to see who would go through to the final. Unfortunately we were narrowly beaten by Ballinasloe. But our lads put up a great show on the day and showed excellent team work and great work-rate. This was the last outing of the year for our U10's who have given us some memorable games during the year, including winning the clubs first silverware in the Cats tournament which they thoroughly deserved. Sunday morning training and games are now finished for the year. Management would like to sincerely thank the entire panel for their exceptional commitment & dedication shown all year since last Feb. A big thank you also to all parents/guardians who spent many evenings on the road bringing them to games over the county.

Congrats to Crumlin/Annagh who defeated Newtown in the Fr. O'Brien Shield last Wednesday. It was a great game of hurling & was a superb way to see out the tournament with such fine displays of skills and enthusiasm.

'Glory of the Blue & Red' commemorative DVD goes through the history of hurling in the parish with some amazing footage of the surrounding areas, there are interviews with those who were involved in that wonderful County victory in 88 and really will be a collectors item in time to come. This double disc DVD has 3 hours of footage and would make a wonderful gift for anyone at home or abroad. You can purchase online, from any club officer or from Fordham's Shop, McGivern's Hardware, Cooke's Shop, Ryan's of Laragh and O'Donohoe's Spar.

In Camogie, our U10s were defeated by Ahascragh in the County Board Summer League final on Saturday. We are very proud of their efforts in getting this far and look forward to seeing further improvement with them again next year.
The U13's played Ahascragh in the North Board Shield final and had a very strong win. Well done girls and well done to the coaches & selectors involved.
The finals of the schools tournament are being played this evening at 5:30pm in Abbeyknockmoy. Crumlin/Annagh take on Newtown in the Joe & Ann O'Connell (nee Coleman) Cup and Briarfield take on Monivea for the Bernie Moran Shield.
Both games will be played consecutively. Presentation of the prizes will be held straight after the games.

The All-Weather astro turf pitch has slots available for any clubs/teams who wish to train over the winter months. The pitch is fully lit and there are also hot showers & kitchen facilities are available with it. To book a slot contact Declan on 086-8159309.

Best wishes to Niamh Ruane getting married this Friday and who is also playing in the County final this Sunday.
