There was no jackpot or match three winner this week. The numbers drawn were 7, 15, 25 and 28. Next week's draw for €1,600 will take place in Ryan's.

Underage AGM will take place on Firday the 13th of December at 8pm. All members are asked to attend. Our U-13s, U-14's, U-15's and U-16's had a presentation night last saturday evening in McGann's. We wish to thank McGann's Bar for the food and hospitality, John Williams for his photography and our special guests Eugene Cloonan and Noel Treacy for attending this awards night. Photo's are available through John, you can contact him on 087-4168052.

Following last weeks meeting Frank Fahy was ratified as our club treasurer and Catherine Forde will work as assistant treasurer. Omitted from last weeks report was Paddy Keary will join the vice presidents. We wish all well in their new rolls. There will be a finance meeting this evening (Wednesday) at 9pm at the club house.

We have received a great response from our local businesses who have taken an advertising spot on a club calender for 2014. The calenders will be available free of charge locally throughout the local community. Closing date to avail of a slot is Thursday 12th of December. Please contact Frank Fahy for further details on 086-3060120
Just a reminder that the 'Glory for the Red & Blue' DVD is still available to purchase through club officers and in the parish shops & cost €25. The double disc DVD which was produced to commemorate the team of 88's victory also looks back over the history of hurling in the parish over the years and captures some fantastic moments. With Christmas just around the corner this DVD would make an ideal gift for anyone involved in the sport or from the parish.
Our intermediate player Tommy Farragher is to travel as part of a group of volunteers early in the new year to Mombasa, Kenya where they are to build classrooms for primary school children and also assisting with a feeding programme for 100 preschool children. A fundraising dance takes place in the Abbey Inn on Friday the 13th of December. Tickets are €5 with music by Tom Flaherty and Francis Fahy. Please support this worthy cause.
As part of Tommy's Ray of Hope Foundation work next month in Kenya the club will hold a fundraising Road Hurling event on Saturday the 21st of December. Registration will take place in McGann's from 1pm. Adult team entry €40 and junior (U-16) entry €20. Teams will be made up of 3 players and a referee. The course is 3 miles long. Your support is appreciated.
Congratulations to Paul & Brian Flaherty who were named on the inaugural Intermediate Club All Stars Hurling Team of the Year 2013. Paul was named at wing forward and Brian at wing back.

Congratulations to TJ & Angela Slattery on the birth of their baby boy.

We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the Mitchell family, Monivea on the passing of Tom Mitchell and to the McCarthy family, Ballyglunin on the passing of Jim's father in Wexford recently.
