Lotto: This weeks numbers were 4, 12, 24 & 25. There was no jackpot winner. Congrats to the match 3 winners who each receive €40, they were Kieran Tracey, Bernie Adams, Margaret & Michael O'Brian, John Murphy and Mary Flaherty. Next weeks lotto is in Ryans and the jackpot is €13,100

Hurling: The finance committee are meeting this Thursday at 8:30pm in the club. All on the committee are asked to attend. If there is anyone else who'd like to join the committee to assist with the organisation of various events which are being held in 2013 you are welcome to join us on the night.
The club hosted the under-age Agm last Thursday evening and was well attended. Michael Coleman (chairman) gave an overview of how the club performed in 2012 and complemented the players and management on reaching the Co. U-16 final who were unlucky to lose out, the U-13 on winning the Co. final and U-12 for their good performance in the league. He thanked the club officers, delegates, team managements, referees and parents for all their hard work during the course of the year and wished them continued success for 2013.
Sinead Garvey (Secretary) gave a detailed account of all the teams performances in the championship and league for the U-12, 13, 14 and 16 teams including the Suck valley league. Under 8, 10 & 12 in the go-games, under 10’s in the East Galway league. The Cats tournament again was a good success where the U-6, 8 & 10 teams competed, however unlucky not to win and the inaugural Kay Williams tournament for the u-12 team who lost out in the final by a point. She complemented Crumlin NS on winning the Fr O’Brien cup and Newtown on winning the shield. Overall it was a reasonably successful year and thanked all involved for their hard work in making the games enjoyable for all. Declan Molloy (Treasurer) gave a brief synopsis of the financial affairs of the club and thanked all involved for their contributions towards the running of the club. All team managers gave a brief synopsis of how there teams faired in the past year.

Camogie: Training is finishing up for the Christmas and text message will go out to all when training resumes again. Keep an eye on our facebook page 'abbeyknockmoy camogie club' for further updates.

General: Thanks to all who attended the table quiz at the weekend, and sincere thanks to Mike Tarpey of AM Gutters who sponsored the cash prize for the 1st place winners & Sean Donohue for sponsoring the 2nd place runners up prize. A great night was had by all & it was a great opportunity to have a catch up before the Christmas.
Don't forget that our 'Tea Party' Club social will be taking place in January, the new date set is Friday 25th January in The Abbey Inn. Keep an eye out on our website, facebook pages & the club notes for further information on this event. The social open to all players, members, supporters, neighbours & friends alike from the Hurling & Camogie Club.
