This Saturday 19th we are holding the first of our Limited Members Draw in Donohue's Bar & Lounge. This draw will take place every month with guaranteed 4 winners every month with 1st prize of €700, and three prizes of €100 each. That's a guaranteed 4 winners every single month in a draw with limited tickets. The cost of this draw is €20 per month payable by standing order from your bank account. If you would like to enter this draw please contact any club officer or you can download the form from our club website and best of luck.

Our Scrap collection last Saturday went very well, we would like to thank everyone who supported us, we are going to continue collection for the coming week. The Monivea site (rear of The Stables housing estate) will be open again next Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm. So if you have any old Scrap that you want to get rid of please drop it up and we would be very grateful, alternatively if you would like us to collect it please contact anyone from the club and we'll arrange collection. All scrap accepted especially old batteries, lead and copper. We also appreciate the kind use of the site to facilitate a collection point

There was no jackpot or match 3 winners in this week's Joe Coleman Roofing Carpentry Sponsored Lotto. The numbers drawn were 13, 16, 22, and 25 . Next week's draw takes place in Kelly's Monivea, jackpot €3, 600. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis; the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website. Six and 12-monthly lotto subscriptions are now due and should be returned to any club officer asap.

The club wish to thank Kelly's Monivea Bar, Lounge and shop for his kind sponsorship this year. It is very much appreciated.

U-21 and minor training continues this Tuesday and Friday evening at 7.30pm. There is a challenge fixed for next Sunday. Management to confirm opposition and time of game at training.

Congrats to our U-14's on winning their first Suck Valley outing last Sunday against Ballinasloe on a score line of 4-7 to 2-7. Well done lads keep it going. Next round this weekend in Abbey V Pearses. Management to confirm details. Minor Suck Valley game didn't go ahead but will be re-fixed for a later date. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club.

Underage indoor camogie continues this Wednesday from 6-7pm for 2nd, 3rd and 4th class girls and from 7-8pm for 5th and 6th class girls at the club grounds. Coaching by Caroline Murray current Galway camogie star. Anyone interested in helping out or if you know of anyone interested there is a brief meeting this evening at 6.30pm during training to plan and develop what is looking like a very interesting time for Camogie in the Parish. Please come along.

Club membership is due and can be submitted to any club officer; membership is set this year at €50 per adult player, €30 per student adult player, €20 per ordinary member and underage is as follows €20 for 1st Child, € 15 for 2nd child, and € 10 for third child in one family.

Handball membership is now due for the use of the Handball alley. Patrons can either pay €60 for the year's membership or avail of membership through buying the weekly hurling lotto ticket through direct debit. Application forms can be obtained through any club official or at the handball alley. The indoor handball alley accommodates alternative games such as racket ball, squash, etc. contact any club officers for details of available times, etc, email the club or simply log on to the website.

Underage handball for 4th, 5th and 6th classes continues this Monday evening in the indoor alley from 7-8pm for the upcoming national school competitions.

The club would wish that cups that were presented to the club over the previous year's be returned to any club officer so they can be put on display at the club grounds.

The club extends its sympathies to the Quinn family, Ballinamona on the recent death of Katie

We would like to Congratulate Monivea Rugby Club on their weekend win in Belfast reaching the AIL Junior Cup, which will be held in the Aviva. We wish John Culkin a speedy recovery.
