There was no jackpot winner in this week's Lotto. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 10 and 17. Next week's draw takes place in McGann's, jackpot €5,600. Congratulations to John Loftus, Eamon Freaney, Fahy family Moyne and Ger Ruane on being this weeks match three winners. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis; the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website. Six-monthly subscriptions are now due, please return to a club delegate.

Intermediates lost to Killimordaly last Wednesday in the Reeves Cup 2-20 to 1-15. Abbey were competitive until the final few minutes before Killimordaly ran out winners. Team was Declan Molloy, Stephen Ruane, Tommy Farragher, David Coleman, Ger Ruane, Kieran Flaherty, Coleman Maher, Padraig O'Donnell, Ronan Cooley, Brian O'Donnell, John Culkin, Darren Collins, Eoin Blade, Brian Cooley, Eoin Flaherty. Sub used Padhraic Mac Maghnuis. Juniors played St. Columba's in the City league Tuesday evening and play Kilnadeema-Leitrim in the championship this Friday at 7.15pm in Ballinasloe. Training continues Thursday at 7.30pm.

Minors enjoyed a good win over Padraig Pearses at the weekend. Final score 2-11 to 0-9. Team on the day was as follows; Dean Keary, Stephen Joyce, Eanna Roche, Paul Cooley, Paul Flaherty(0-4), Kevin Divilly, Shane King(0-1), Kenneth Garvey, Jarlath Moran, Craig Kennedy(0-3), Daniel Flaherty(0-1), Caolin Blade(1-0), Eoin Loftus(1-2), subs used Alan Devane, Adrain McDonnell and Noel Garvey. Minor and U-16 training continues this Wednesday at 8pm. We are fixed to play Cois Fharraighe on the 13th of July at 7.15pm in Abbey. Support for the lads appreciated.

Under-age hurling for under 6's, 8's, 10's & 12's continues this Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30 and all are welcome. U-10's were defeated by Cappataggle in the East Galway U-10 divisional league final last Sunday morning. Panel on the day was:Gearoid Quirke, Rys Forde, Adam Wynne, Niall Forde, Niall Furey, Luke Forde, Jack Mannion, Tyler Speight, Aaron Quinn, Oisin Quinn, Liam McDonagh, Eoin Harrison, Daniel Lydon, Michael Molloy, Cian Forde, Niall Farragher, Patrick Warde.

We are holding a Fundraising Golf Classic on Saturday 30th of July (Bank Holiday Weekend) in Mountbellew Golf Club. Subscription for a team of four is €100. Time slots can be accommodated on Friday as well. We hope all are enjoying this weeks VHI Club Cul Camps taking place all week at the club grounds.

Camogie: Training this evening (Wednesday) from 7-8pm at the club grounds for all age groups, training to be outside. The Camogie Club are looking for some more volunteers to help with coaching and supervision of the kids at training sessions. If anyone is available to do so then either contact Sharon Gannon 087-6361836 or speak to us at training on Wednesday evening.
