Our fourth monthly Limited Members Draw took place in McGann's Bar & Lounge, Monivea last Saturday night. First prize winner went to Ronan Cooley receiving €700, and three prizes of €100 each went to Michael F. Dolan, Malachy Fahy and Padraig O'Donnell.

This weeks Lotto was held in Ryans of Laragh, the numbers drawn were 14, 19, 23 and 28. There were no Jackpot winner, however three people had match 3's namely Willie McDonnell, Gerry Flaherty & Mary Killeen-Carr who each received €40. The jackpot now stands at €6,000 and will be held next week in Mannion's Bar

This Friday night Jason Travers hosts an evening of entertainment in the Abbey Inn. Jason is Ireland's latest country and western singing star. Tickets are €15 and can be bought from club officials or on the door. All proceeds are in aid of Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club.

Our Fundraising Golf Classic took place last Saturday 30th of July and proved a great success. We wish to thank all participants, officials, sponsors, McGanns Bar and to Mountbellew Golf Club in what was a most enjoyable day, with special thanks to Noel Higgins and Joe Keane.

Intermediates play Tremane in a challenge this evening at 7.30pm in Abbey. Minor and U-16 training continues this Wednesday at 7.45pm. U-16's are in championship action this Friday v Mountbellew in Abbey at 7.15pm Support for the lads appreciated.

U-13 training continues Thursday at 6.30pm. Under-age hurling for under 6's, 8's, 10's & 12's continues this Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30 and all are welcome.

Camogie: Training this evening (Wednesday) from 7-8pm at the club grounds for all underage groups, training to be outside. The Camogie Club are looking for some more volunteers to help with coaching and supervision of the kids at training sessions. If anyone is available to do so then either contact Sharon Gannon 087-6361836 or speak to us.
