There was no jackpot winner in this weeks Joe Coleman Roofing Carpentry Sponsored Lotto. Congratulations to Sean Finnerty on being this weeks match 3 winner. The numbers drawn were 6, 20, 26 and 28. Next weeks draw takes place in O'Donohue's, jackpot €3,400. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis, the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website. Six and 12-monthly lotto subscriptions are now due and should be returned to any club officer asap.

Friday the 11th of February we run our private members draw which will be held in O'Donohue's Bar & Lounge. Each month there will be a draw with the guarantee of 4 winners each month, 1st prize €700 and 3 prizes of €100 each. The cost to participate in this monthly draw is €20 per month by standing order from your bank account. Due to the limited number of entries and the guarantee of 4 winning entries each monthly draw it will give 48 winners in the year. The standing order mandate can be downloaded from the club website from this weekend on or by contacting any club officer. As always the club appreciates your continued support especially in these difficult times.

U-21 challenge versus Kilnadeema-Leitrim this Sunday at 12pm in Abbey. We had a good run out against Ardrahan losing by five in the end last Sunday, 2-13 to 4-12. Team on the day was Dean Keary, Eanna Roache, Danny Mullins, Thomas Blade, Joe Conroy, John Blade, Conor Cooley, Caoilin Blade, Paul Flaherty, Daniel Collins, Colman Maher, Trevor Mullins, Eoin Blade, Eoin Flaherty, Shane King, Sub used Johnny Flaherty. All players eligible are asked to attend. First and second rounds of the championship are pencilled in for the 27th of February and the 6th of March. Suck Valley League resumes on the weekend of the 12th/13th of February where each age group (U-14, U-16 and minor) play Ballinasloe. Management to contact all players before the league commences to organise the dates, transport, etc. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club. Underage indoor camogie commences this Wednesday from 6-7pm for 2nd, 3rd and 4th class girls and from 7-8pm for 5th and 6th class girls at the club grounds. Club membership is due and can be submitted to any club officer; membership is set this year at €50 per adult player, €30 per student adult player, €20 per ordinary member and underage is as follows €20 for 1st Child, € 15 for 2nd child, and €10 for third child in one family.

"Scrap Saturday", we are organising a scrap metal collection for Saturday the 12th of February as part of our fundraising for the coming year. Drop off point will be at the building site at the rear of the Stables housing estate, Athenry Rd., Monivea between 10am and 5pm or we can collect, fliers will be dropped into your letterbox in the coming days with contact details if you wish for us to collect. Handball membership is now due for the use of the Handball alley. Patrons can either pay €60 for the years membership or avail of membership through buying the weekly hurling lotto ticket through direct debit. Application forms can be obtained through any club official or at the handball alley. The indoor handball alley accommodates alternative games such as racket ball, squash, etc. contact any club officers for details of available times, etc, email the club or simply log on to the website. Underage handball for 4th, 5th and 6th classes continues this Monday evening in the indoor alley from 7-8pm for the upcoming national school competitions.
