Our third monthly Limited Members Draw took place in Kelly's Bar & Lounge, Monivea last Saturday night. First prize winner went to Frank Fahy receiving €700, and three prizes of €100 each went to Paddy Mannion, Mike Burke and Sean McGann.

There was no jackpot or match three winner in this week's Lotto. The numbers drawn were 13, 14, 26 and 28. Next week's draw takes place in O'Donohue's, jackpot €4,600. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis; the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website.

Intermediate and Junior training continues this Friday at 7.30pm sharp. In the intermediate championship last weekend Wolfe Tones were unable to field a team for this years championship. We now look forward to a championship game against Ahascragh-Fohenagh due to be played either this weekend or next weekend. Ahascragh in their first championship group game, lost to Cappataggle 0-14 to 0-8 last Sunday. Intermediates had a good challenge against Killimor on Saturday drawing 1-13 to 0-16.

The second round of the Junior B league was played in Abbeyknockmoy on Easter Monday evening against Sarsfields. A new look team with Richard Fox, Sean O'Donnell, Damian Blade, Declan Moran and Frank Carton all returning to good effect for their first match of the year, Abbeyknockmoy were on top in most sectors. Scores were slow to come with Rob Lally leading the way from centre-forward forcing a lead of two points at half time 7 points to 5. Three second half goals from Brian Cooley, Darren Collins(free) and Richard Culkin ensured a comfortable victory 3.11 to 1.08. Next round of the league is May 7th. Team lined out as follows; Mark Flaherty, Sean O'Donnell, Richie Fox, Gerry Farragher, Damian Blade, Stephen Ruane, Conor Cooley, Darren Collins, Colm Mannion, Vinny Lally, Rob Lally, Declan Moran, Frank Carton, Brian Cooley, Caolin Blade, subs; Paddy Flaherty, Richard Culkin, Shane King, David Finnerty.

Minor & U-16 training continues this Thursday at 7.30pm. Minors face Sylane in their championship this evening (Wednesday) at 7.30pm in Sylane. U-16's won two games at the weekend beating Ballinasloe on Sunday and Padraig Pearses (Roscommon) on Monday. U-14's play Padraig Pearses in championship next Bank Holiday Monday at 11am in Abbey. Support for the lads welcome.

Underage camogie continues this Wednesday from 7-8pm at the club grounds, training to be outside. Coaching by Caroline Murray current Galway camogie star. Please come along. On Saturday the camogie teams have a blitz in Carnmore at 10.15am.

Club membership is due and can be submitted to any club officer; membership is set this year at €50 per adult player, €30 per student adult player, €20 per ordinary member and underage is as follows €20 for 1st Child, €15 for 2nd child, and €10 for third child in one family.

Under-age hurling for under 8's,10's & 12's commences this Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30 and all are welcome. All are welcome. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club.

Handball membership is now due for the use of the Handball alley. Patrons can either pay €60 for the year's membership or avail of membership through buying the weekly hurling lotto ticket through direct debit. Application forms can be obtained through any club official or at the handball alley. The indoor handball alley accommodates alternative games such as racket ball, squash, etc. contact any club officers for details of available times, etc, email the club or simply log on to the website.

The club would wish that cups that were presented to the club over the previous year's be returned to any club officer so they can be put on display at the club grounds.
