There was no jackpot winner in this weeks Joe Coleman Roofing Carpentry Sponsored Lotto. Congratulations to Ita Mannion and Christy Mannion on being this weeks match 3 winners. The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 17 and 18. Next weeks draw takes place in Mannion's, jackpot €3,300. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis, the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website. Six and 12-monthly lotto subscriptions are now due and should be returned to any club officer asap.

From the beginning of next month we run our private members draw every month with the guarantee of 4 winners each month, 1st prize €700 and 3 prizes of €100 each. The cost to participate in this monthly draw is €20 per month by standing order from your bank account. Due to the limited number of entries and the guarantee of 4 winning entries each monthly draw it will give 48 winners in the year. The standing order mandate can be downloaded from the club website from this weekend on or by contacting any club officer.

U-21 training this Wednesday at 7.30pm sharp, challenge match Sunday at 12pm in Abbey. All players eligible are asked to attend. First and second rounds of the championship are penciled in for the 27th of February and the 6th of March. Suck Valley League resumes on the weekend of the 12th/13th of February where each age group (U-14, U-16 and minor) play Ballinasloe. Management to contact all players before the league commences to organise the dates, transport, etc. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club.

Club membership is due and can be submitted to any club officer; membership is set this year at €50 per adult player, €30 per student adult player, €20 per ordinary member and underage is as follows €20 for 1st Child, €15 for 2nd child, and €10 for third child in one family.

Handball membership is now due for the use of the Handball alley. Patrons can either pay €60 for the years membership or avail of membership through buying the weekly hurling lotto ticket through direct debit. Application forms can be obtained through any club official or at the handball alley. The indoor handball alley accommodates alternative games such as racket ball, squash, etc. contact any club officers for details of available times, etc, email the club abbeyknockmoyhurling@gmail.com or simply log on to the website. Underage handball for 4th, 5th and 6th classes continues this Monday evening in the indoor alley from 7-8pm for the upcoming national school competitions.

The club would wish that cups that were presented to the club over the previous years be returned to any club officer so they can be put on display at the club grounds.
