Last Saturday the 19th we held our first monthly Limited Members Draw in Donohue's Bar & Lounge. First prize winner went to Tomas Cooley receiving €700, and three prizes of €100 each went to John Mannion, John Flaherty and James Dolly. Lucky dip winners of a bottle of whiskey each were Sean Langan and Carmel Cooley. That's a guaranteed 4 winners every single month in a draw with limited tickets. The cost of this draw is €20 per month payable by standing order from your bank account. If you would like to enter this draw please contact any club officer or you can download the form from our club website and best of luck.

Our Scrap collection continues for the final weekend, the last couple of weekends have gone very well, we would like to thank everyone who supported us, we are going to continue collection for the coming week. The Monivea site (rear of The Stables housing estate) will be open again next Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm. So if you have any old Scrap that you want to get rid of please drop it up and we would be very grateful, alternatively if you would like us to collect it please contact anyone from the club and we'll arrange collection. All scrap accepted especially old batteries, lead and copper. We also appreciate the kind use of the site to facilitate the collection point.

There was no jackpot or match 3 winners in this week's Joe Coleman Roofing Carpentry Sponsored Lotto. The numbers drawn were 15, 16, 19 and 23. Next week's draw takes place in Moran's Monivea, jackpot €3,700. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis; the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website.

U-21 and minor training continues this Thursday and Friday evening at 7.30pm. U-21's face Kiltormer this Saturday at 2pm in Ballinasloe in their championship. Minors are in SVL action Sunday at 11am also where they face Tooreen. Support for both teams appreciated.

U-14 team had a good win over Pearses (Ros) in the 2nd round of the SVL on a scoreline of 5-3 to 0-3 Minor game was postponed. Further fixtures this weekend and management to notify players. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club.

Underage indoor camogie continues this Wednesday from 6-7pm for 2nd, 3rd and 4th class girls and from 7-8pm for 5th and 6th class girls at the club grounds. Coaching by Caroline Murray current Galway camogie star. Anyone interested in helping out or if you know of anyone interested there is a brief meeting this evening at 6.30pm during training to plan and develop what is looking like a very interesting time for Camogie in the Parish. Please come along.

Club membership is due and can be submitted to any club officer; membership is set this year at €50 per adult player, €30 per student adult player, €20 per ordinary member and underage is as follows €20 for 1st Child, €15 for 2nd child, and €10 for third child in one family.

The club wish to thank Kelly's Monivea Bar, Lounge for their recent sponsorship this year and also the kind gesture to our two players Brian and David who have moved to London. It is very much appreciated.

Handball membership is now due for the use of the Handball alley. Patrons can either pay €60 for the year's membership or avail of membership through buying the weekly hurling lotto ticket through direct debit. Application forms can be obtained through any club official or at the handball alley. The indoor handball alley accommodates alternative games such as racket ball, squash, etc. contact any club officers for details of available times, etc, email the club or simply log on to the website.

Underage handball for 4th, 5th and 6th classes continues this Monday evening in the indoor alley from 7-8pm for the upcoming national school competitions.

The club would wish that cups that were presented to the club over the previous year's be returned to any club officer so they can be put on display at the club grounds.

Congratulations goes out to the Abbeyknockmoy Set Dancers on winning their first Junior Scor All-Ireland Title, James & Irene Finnerty on the birth of their baby boy, Kieran and Edwina Treacy on the birth of their baby boy and also to the Presentation Athenry on reaching the Connacht Senior A Hurling Final.
