There was no jackpot winner in this week's Lotto. The numbers drawn were 7, 18, 19 and 24. Next week's draw takes place in O'Donohue's, jackpot €5,700. Congratulations to Malachy Lally on being this weeks match three winner. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis; the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website. Six-monthly subscriptions are now due, please return to a club delegate.

The Junior B team went down 3-13 to 1-10 against a skillful Killnadeema/Leitrim team last Friday in the third round of group championship matches at Ballinasloe. Despite a good first half performance which left us trailing by 1.05 to 0.05 and with the luxury of being able to introduce Michael Coleman and Caoilin Blade for the second half we never got up to the required tempo set by our opponents. Team: M Flaherty, K Ruane, R Fox, N Keary, P Flaherty, T Blade, K Higgins, D Blade, Darren Blade, J Conroy, G Farragher, C Cooley, R Lally, E Blade, D Collins, subs used, M Coleman, C Blade, S Lally, subs, D Keary, S King, F Conroy, K Lally, T Mullins, S O'Donnell. Juniors are fixed to play Killimordaly in the championship this Sunday. Management to confirm time and venue.

Minor and U-16 training continues this Wednesday at 8pm. We are fixed to play Cois Fharraighe this evening (Wednesday) at 7.15pm in Abbey. U-12's defeated Tuam, our next game is against Sylane on the 18th of July. Support for the lads appreciated.

Under-age hurling for under 6's, 8's, 10's & 12's continues this Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30 and all are welcome. The VHI Cul Camp was a great success last week with 43 participants. A great week was had by all despite the inclement weather. Special thanks to the coordinators in the club who helped out and also to Carl and his coaching staff who made each day an enjoyable experience for all the players.

We are holding a Fundraising Golf Classic on Saturday 30th of July (Bank Holiday Weekend) in Mountbellew Golf Club. Subscription for a team of four is €100.
