This weeks Lotto was held in Mannion's Bar, the numbers drawn were 14, 19, 24 and 26. There were no Jackpot winner and no match 3's. The jackpot now stands at €6,100 and will be held next week in Moran's Bar next Week

Intermediates lost to Turloughmore last Monday evening in the Reeves Cup. We trailed 2-16 to 1-3 at half-time after a poor first half performance, but came out in the second put in a very spirited, committed display. Final score 2-26 to 3-14. Team on the day was Dean Keary, Stephen Ruane, Tommy Farragher, Danny Mullins, Paddy Flaherty, Kieran Flaherty, Thomas Blade, Ronan Cooley, Ger Ruane, Coleman Maher, Brian Flaherty, Darren Collins, Eoin Blade, Eoin Flaherty, Padraic Mac Maghnuis. Subs used Padraig O'Donnell for Ger Ruane, Brian O'Donnell for Eoin Blade. Intermediate and junior training continues Thursday at 7.30pm.

U-13 training continues Thursday at 6.30pm. Under-age hurling for under 6's, 8's & 10's continues this Friday from 7.30 to 8.30pm and for under 6's, 8's, 10's & 12's Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30 and all are welcome.

Camogie: U-12's play Kilconieran this Wednesday in Abbey at 7pm, support for the girls as always much appreciated, this will be their first league game. Training this evening (Wednesday) from 7-8pm at the club grounds for all other underage groups at 7pm. The Camogie Club are looking for some more volunteers to help with coaching and supervision of the kids at training sessions. If anyone is available to do so then either contact Sharon Gannon 087-6361836 or speak to us.

Congratulations to Paul Flaherty and the Galway minor team on their All-Ireland semi-final win against Clare last weekend. Best of luck to the Monivea-Abbey intermediates in championship action this weekend v Spiddal.
