There was no jackpot winner in the Joe Coleman Roofing & Carpentry Sponsored Lotto last Monday night. The numbers drawn were 11, 12, 16 and 18. Congratulations to Michael Killeen on being this week's match three winner. Next weeks draw takes place in Kelly's, jackpot €2,000. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis, the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website.

Intermediates face Oranmore-Maree in the City League this Friday in Oranmore at 7.30pm. Junior A's play Skehana in the championship this evening in Athenry at 7.30pm.

Minor match versus Cappataggle was re-fixed for last night (Tuesday) report to following in next weeks edition. Minors are fixed to play Liam Mellows this Sunday afternoon at 12.30pm in Carnmore. Management to confirm travel arrangements at training. Training continues this evening for the minor and U-16 squads at 7.15pm. U-16's received a walk over Monday night as Salthill were unable to field a team. Next Monday we face Meelick-Eyrecourt in our second group championship game in Cappataggle, management to confirm travel arrangements.

Under-age hurling for continues for all other age groups to U-12 level this Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30 and all are welcome. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club.

U10s lost narrowly in extra time to Kiltormer in the East Galway Hurling Finals last Saturday with Abbey scoring 3 goals to Kiltormer's 3 goals and 3 points. It was a wonderful game of hurling and well done to all our players who played so skilfully and gallantly throughout the game. Sincere thanks to all the parents who provided transport and support on the day. U10 team was as follows: Matthew King, Dara Coleman (1 goal), Niall Forde, Oisin Fagan, Rys Forde, Keith Boyle ( 1 goal), Jason Joyce, Leona Rabbitte, Niall Furey, Tyler Speight, Aaron Quinn (1 goal), Daniel Lydon, Patrick Ward.

This years VHI Club Cul Camps takes places this week, we hope all participants are enjoying the week long intensive hurling camp.

Well done to Eoin Loftus, Michael O'Brian, Cian Murphy, Tom Warde who took part in U14 County development training and John Burke, Kenneth Garvey, Paul Cooley, Danial Flaherty who took part in the U15 County development training.
