Their was one jackpot winner and one match 3 winner in the Joe Coleman Roofing & Carpentry Sponsored Lotto last Monday night. Congratulations to Tommy Treacy on winning the jackpot and Michael Joyce on his match three win. The numbers drawn were 7, 10, 21 and 23. Next weeks draw takes place in Ryan's, jackpot €1,500. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis, the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website.

We are postponing our Fundraising event until further notice. Tickets are still on sale for €20 from club officials and players, your continued support is welcomed and appreciated.

In conjunction with the Monivea/Abbey Football Club and Ladies Football Club, Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club are holding a Parish GAA Social in the Claregalway Hotel on the 20th of April honouring the 1960 Junior Hurling County Championship Team, the 1985 Intermediate Hurling County Championship Team, presentations will be made to the current Intermediate Hurling Team for their City League Success and runners up medals from the Intermediate League 2008 as well as the football honouring teams of past and present. Tickets for €25 are on sale, all tickets to be sold by this Wednesday to confirm a head count for the night. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Ger Cooke.

All fixtures for last weekend were postponed due to the bad weather taking its toll. Training continues Wednesday at 7.30pm for all adult players. Minor & U-16 training this Thursday at 7pm sharp. Minor championship match versus Kinvara has been re fixed for 6pm Saturday evening in Clarinbridge. Intermediates are fixed to play Oranmore Saturday at 11am in Oranmore on Sunday. Management to confirm times, dates etc. at training due to Saturday nights Parish Social.

Under-age hurling for under 8's,10's & 12's continues this Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30 and all are welcome. Registration forms will be provided on the day. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club. Parents are asked to note time change.

The club extends its sympathies to the Cooley family, Belleville on the death of Robbie Cooley, the O'Connor family, Monivea on the death of Michael and the Loughlin family, Carrarea on the death of Elizabeth.
