Their was no jackpot winner or match 3 winner in the Joe Coleman Roofing & Carpentry Sponsored Lotto last Monday night. The numbers drawn were 8, 13, 18 and 22. Next weeks draw takes place in Woodside, jackpot €6,700. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis, the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website.

We are postponing our Fundraising event until further notice. Tickets are still on sale for €20 from club officials and players, your continued support is welcomed and appreciated.

In conjunction with the Monivea/Abbey Football Club and Ladies Football Club, Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club are holding a Parish GAA Social in the Claregalway Hotel on the 20th of April honouring the 1960 Junior Hurling County Championship Team, the 1985 Intermediate Hurling County Championship Team, presentations will be made to the current Intermediate Hurling Team for their City League Success and runners up medals from the Intermediate League 2008 as well as the football honouring teams of past and present. Tickets for €25 are on sale from this weekend from club delegates in what should be a great night for all parish GAA supporters. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Ger Cooke.

Intermediates play Wolfe Tones in the league this Saturday at 6pm in Abbey. Training continues Wednesday at 7.30pm. Minor & U-16 training this Thursday at 7pm sharp. Minor championship commences this Friday with our first group game versus Kinvara in Killimordaly at 5.30pm and play our second group game Monday evening against Salthill in Turloughmore at 6pm.

U-14's lost to Tynagh-Abbey-Duniry in the Feile last weekend.Under-age hurling for under 8's,10's & 12's continues this Sunday from 12.15 to 1.30 and all are welcome. Registration forms will be provided on the day. We would be appreciative if spare underage helmets could be returned to the club to sell on to the up and coming hurlers in the club.

The club extends its sympathies to the Bane family, Ballina, Ballyglunin on the death of Padraig. Padraig was a member of the 1960 Junior County Championship winning team.
