There were 2 match '3', namely Pat Blade & Padraic O'Donnell who each received €40. The numbers drawn were 5,11,17,23. Next weeks draw takes place in the Ryan's with starting jackpot €1,500. Supporters are encouraged to avail Direct Debit as a convenient means of playing the club's Lotto on a weekly basis, the direct debit mandate can be downloaded from the club website.

Abbeyknockmoy played there Pre-lim Q-final game against Castlegar last Sunday evening in Turloughmore with the result ending in a draw after extra-time in a must win game to make the Q-final stages of the championship. Abbey playing in to a stiff breeze in the first half and got off to good start with 2-1 in the first 15 minutes with Castlegar keeping in touch with some good points, Abbey concede a penalty which was duly converted which put castlegar in the lead with half-time score of 1-10 to 2-3 with Abbey trailing by 4 points. On the resumption Abbey tightened up in the backs and after some good play by the forwards they fought there way back to within 2 points after five minutes. The game ebbed and flowed and staunch defending by Castlegar and some excellent free taking they held on to the lead. However, Abbey kept plugging and managed a draw at full-time on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-13. The game continued in the same mould in extra-time with scores hard to come by both teams and ended in a draw on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-16. Overall abbey will be disappointed with the result as they had some great position, but chances were squandered with a total of 21 wides and a draw was a fair result. For the record the team was Declan Molloy, Richie Fox, Tommy Farragher, David Carton, David Coleman, Kieran Flaherty, Padraig O'Donnell, Ger Ruane, Ronan Cooley, John Blade (1-00), Brian Cooley (0-01), Brian Flaherty (0-05,1f), Brian O'Donnell, John Culkin (1-02), Colman Maher(0-3, 2f). Sub: Paul Flaherty (0-02,2F), Cathal Coleman Replay fixed for next Sunday at 4.00 in Turloughmore, support much appreciated

The Fr O'Brien Cup & shield are well underway with games keenly contested. Crumlin are slightly ahead on points where they drew with Monivea and had a narrow win over Newtown. Monivea & Newtown play next Monday and the final placings will become much clearer. Overall the standard of competition is excellent and again your support is much appreciated.
