Intermediates played Kilconerion last Saturday in a league play off for the Q/final. Abbey went in to the game missing a few key players through injury and county duty and in a high scoring game Abbey lost on a scoreline of 3-16 to 0-18. While this was disappointing as it is there 1st loss in 3 months where the team performed well below par owing mainly to the heavy training as they prepare for the up coming championship in three weeks and a much improved performance is expected.
