The U-10, U-8 & U-6 blitz involving Carnmore, Turloughmore, Sylane & Abbey culminated in the last of the games being completed last Sunday. A great day was had by all where over 300 kids took part in the Go-Games with some exciting games. Special thanks to all the mentors, parents from all the clubs for preparing the teams. Thanks also to the referees who refereed all the games and club staff who provided the refreshments for all the players and parents. Special mention and thanks to Michael Tarpey who originally came up with the idea of the games with the clubs and who put in a Trojan effort in organizing same. Finally thanks to Barney who made an appearance and entertained the younger kids on the day. Looking forward to next year when it will be hosted by one of the other clubs. Thanks again to all who made it a memorable day.
