There was no jackpot winner in this weeks Joe Coleman Roofing & Carpentry Sponsored Lotto. There were 3 match three winning tickets, congratulations to Michael O'Connor, Jacinta Madden and Eanna Maher. The numbers drawn were 2, 7, 8 and 24. Intermediates lost their city league crown to Rahoon-Newcastle last Saturday evening in Ballyloughan on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-14. For the record the team was Declan Molloy, Richie Fox, Tommy Farragher, David Carton, Paddy Flaherty , Brian Costello, Ger Ruane, Ronan Cooley, John Blade, John Culkin, Brian Flaherty, Paul Flaherty, Colman Maher, Kieran Flaherty, Darren Collins. The Fr O'Brien cup & shield finals are coming to a close with the cup final played last Monday contested by Crumlin & Monivea. In what can only be described as an enthralling contest by both teams loudly cheered by there supporters, gave it there all for there respective schools in a highly entertaining competitive match where the lead changed five times over the course of the game. Monivea emerged the victor with a one point win on a scoreline of 3-5 to 1-10 and we congratulate them on a great achievement. However, all is not lost for Crumlin where they take on Newtown in the Shield final this Wednesday at 6.00 pm in what will be another highly competitive match as both teams are evenly matched. In addition there is also a Blitz for the younger players and your support is most welcome for the conclusion of the competition.

Our U-8 and U-10 played Moycullen last weekend and both teams recorded two very good victories in highly entertaining games, a further challenge is arranged against Ballygar this Saturday morning and we wish them well, mentors will text with times.
