16th January 2017 Club Notes

posted 29 Jan 2017, 06:06 by abbeyknockmoy gaa
It's that glorious time of year again when the hurlers dust down their hurls and look forward to trampling through the mud and wet of January and February to prepare for the fabled summer days of championship. Training starts at 8pm this week on Tuesday and Friday for Seniors, Juniors and U-21's. It's a big year for the seniors with a new management in place and hopefully we can build on the promise of last year.

Please remember the National GAA club draw tickets are on sale for €10 with 14 prizes on offer. All funds raised go directly to the hurling club with the GAA providing the tickets and the prizes. More details on the website, Facebook, Twitter and Clubify. This is a great fundraiser for the club and it has been put to great use in the past. Please support. See www.gaa.ie/news/national-club-draw/ for details.
